In my work as an individual and couples therapist, I deal mainly with helping people cultivate a mutually respectful and loving emotional and physical relationship. Intimate relationships can be affected by many factors including personal conflicts, past trauma or shame around sex, difficult relational dynamics, and lifecycle events. Difficulties in sexual function may be physiologically based, but affect and are affected by the relational context. A therapy process should consider all these factors in helping you navigate an improved and enhanced intimate life together.

I enjoy working with clients in the hospitality industry, with its unique strains and stresses, with creatives and performers, and with people who fall outside the gender binary, hetero norms, and relationship structures. In my personal and professional life, I gravitate toward queer people and those living unconventional lifestyles. I have considerable therapeutic experience with gay men and the challenges they face systematically, individually, and within relationships. I am versed in sex therapy, with a focus on kink and paraphilias, and sex work. I also work with relationships of all kinds.

I strive to provide a space where you can easily unburden your mind, and collaborate on achieving immediate or longer term goals. Therapy does not only happen within the span of our time together; at the end we will identify some actionable steps to carry you between meetings.
